Something I notice a lot when I'm training in the gym is people over-complicating what it is they're doing; they'll take ten minutes setting up a circuit then spend the next ten minutes doing some nonsense and leave the gym knackered - BUT - not any fitter as they're workout lacks any real structure!
To combat this I decided to write up a bunch of Tabata inspired workouts which will allow you to get a really effective workout done, using minimal space or equipment, in a very short space of time.
Chucking one of these workouts in at the end of your training session can be pretty tough as it is, but if you wanted to make things more challenging you could simply stack multiple four minute routines on top of each other and create a much longer workout/workout finisher.
Also, if you've got Spotify I'd suggest typing in 'Tabata' and performing these workouts alongside some sort of Tabata Song which will tell you when to WORK and when to REST; this will give you one less thing to think about and further allow you to focus all of your efforts into the workout itself.
Save these workouts to your phone.
Give them a go, and let me know how you get on.
