FANCY A CHALLENGE?
A few years back I was doing a lot of small-group training with a friend of mine and we put this fitness test together to measure and asses the progress of everyone involved.
It worked really well as it was challenging for all participants, worked the whole body, and gave everyone a performance orientated goal with a target time to beat.
And Boy Oh Boy Did They Beat It.
Of course you can tweak the variables to better match your needs and preferences, but I quite like it as it is. HAVE A LOOK and see what you think.
The test basically consists of seven exercises that are to be completed as quickly as possible, in the order shown above.
It could take you anything from 10-30 minutes to complete depending on your fitness levels, but the main thing is to do the test now, and again at a later date to see if you've improved, or not.
This makes for a good workout but it's far more effective as a means of measuring your progress over time. GIVE IT A GO and let me know how you get on.
